How do you not break character when you’re playing a recently spayed dog-woman? Pippa Mackie, well known for her Fringe shows, The Progressive Polygamists, and Industry: The Food Must Go Out, shares her secret method of hiding laugher from the audience in this interview with comedian, Sara Bynoe.

Pippa is a Vancouver based actor/writer/producer, a graduate of the National Theatre School, and a Jessie Richardson Nominee for her work as “B” in Pi Theatre’s production of Terminus. Pippa is also a co-artistic contributor and producer of the Pull Festival. In addition to her numerous theatre credits, Pippa has also filled TV roles on Supernatural, Roadies, and she’ll be playing Peggy in the upcoming Syfy channel’s Van Helsing, among others.

Untitled Feminist, Pippa’s new dark comedy about finding love in the modern world, will be part of the reading series at rEvolver Festival on May 24.
