Name: Marguerite Hanna

Role in the show: Supersuperstar

Place of birth: Ottawa

Studied at: Studio 58

Recent theatre credits: Rosalind (As You Like It, Studio 58), Mom (Wilderness, Studio 58), Deedee (Ain’t: The Musical, Studio 58)

Favourite TV program: Avatar: The Last Airbender

Favourite quote: “I tell you what freedom is to me. No fear.” —Nina Simone

Favourite actor: I live for Frances McDormand’s performance in Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri.

Worst job ever had: Any customer service job where my co-workers are disrespectful. Come on, we’re all earning minimum wage together, we’re all getting talked down to by customers together; let’s show a little solidarity.

Favourite off-time activity: Being a plant-mom to my perfect plant babies.

Favourite book: Goodnight Stories for Rebel Girls

Personal Philosophy: I’m brave, I’m courageous, I’m wildly emotionally intelligent, and I’m on my own journey, so hold onto your hats.

Greatest moment: Every dang day.

Something I would rather forget: Well gosh, I could list some majorly depressing stuff here, couldn’t I? But what good does regret do?

Other interesting or quirky skills/interests/hobbies: My friends quite enjoy my Christopher Walken impression. So do my plants.

Worst job ever had: A catering worker forced to throw away perfectly good (never touched and still steaming) food into garbage bags.

Favourite off-time activity: Reading

Favourite book/play: Kafka on the Shore

Personal philosophy: Live simple, travel light.

Greatest moment: Yet to come (I want to believe).

Favourite movie/TV program: New Girl, Brooklyn Nine-Nine

Favourite off-time activity: Long walks singing to myself.

Personal philosophy: Acknowledge and admit what you don’t know, be conscious and cautious about what you do know. Stand by your good ideas, own up to your not so good ones. Strive to not fear failure. Laugh, or heck, CACKLE if you find something funny. There’s always room for a dance.

Something I would rather forget: My fashion between grade 4 and 5 (orange sweatpants with black ballet flats??).

Other interesting or quirky skills/interests/hobbies: Making noodle dishes, teaching tap dance, learning how to play the drum set.
